A Fan is required to aircool these lights.
Most lamps should be mounted at least 65cm above plant canopy to reduce chance of scorching.

There are 2 different diameter cool shades available, both identical in construction to a traditional cool shade except minus the internal reflector (to allow 360 degree light distribution)
The 12,5cm is 480mm long and should be used for 250-600 Watt lamps whilst.
The 15cm is 595mm long and should be used with 1000 Watt lamps.
