Co2 In The Grow Room, Calculate The Ideal Amount Of Co2

This tool calculates the ideal amount of CO2 for a grow room

This tool calculates the ideal amount of CO2 for a grow room or grow box. All sums are in meters and their fractions.

The parameters needed to calculate the co2 are:

  • Length of the grow room.
  • Width of the grow room.
  • Height of the grow room calculated from the bottom of the plants.
  • CO2 to add PPM.

The calculator will show in the last field, the seconds of supply of Co2.

There is not an exact calculation to be made to show the time duration of optimal co2 emission in the grow room: plants consume co2 and only an automatic program is able to correct the dynamic changes which are a result of the plants metabolism. Experience has shown that a good compromise is refreshing with co2 everyday day during the flowering period.

*The Air naturally contains around 300ppm, therefor the tool setting is parts per millions PPM of Co2 1200. Some growers have experienced up to 2000ppm, however the optimal  levels are 1500ppm.

The co2 bottle provided with this kit has a stream of 0.0050 feet per second, therefore we have to open the valve for the amount of seconds desplaied ; values: HH:MM:SS
