When and why to replace the Indoor Lamps. In indoor cultivation, the power and quality of your HPS lamps in the grow box are extremely important factors that significantly influence the results and performance of plants in terms of number of flowers and final fruit yield. 

Currently, they are commercially available in a variety of sizes and wattages, color temperatures and spectral compositions. Color temperature qualifies the hue of light and is measured in Kelvin. It is interesting to know that the daylight of the sun exceeds 5000 Kelvin.

The most used indoor grow lamps are HPS (high sodium pressure) and MH (metal halide). They are also commonly used to illuminate our streets, stadiums, and wherever there is a need for intense and efficient light. This type of lamps, HPS and MH, require a specific ballast power supply for discharge lamps.

Everyone knows that LED grow lights are great in  summer. Not everyone knows that they are great even in winter! You may need to work harder to control the temperature, but you can increase nutrient strength and CO2 usage. The impact on yield is incredible.
