neutralises odours and inhibits moulds and bacteria in your grow tent
Uvonair UV-80H In-Duct Ozone Generator neutralises odours and inhibits moulds and bacteria in the air. The Uvonair UV-80H works in your 8 inch (200mm) outlet ducting, producing enough ozone to clean the air coming out of areas up to 5000-10000 cubic feet (150-300 cubic metres). Great for peace of mind when growing plants.
- Uvonair – Makers of high quality ozone generators
- Uvonair UV-80H – for use in 200mm ducting
- Uses special high-output UV lamps to produce 135mg or 270mg of ozone per hour
- Can be switched between low output (1 lamp) or high output (2 lamps)
- Professional quality
- Drastically reduces odours exiting the outlet ducting
- Incredibly effective for rooms up to 5000-10000 cubic feet (150-300 cubic metres)

How the Uvonair UV-80H In-Duct Ozone Generator works:
The Uvonair UV-80H In-Duct Ozone Generator is a professional quality ozone generator that utilises 2 special high output 150mm (6 inch) ultraviolet lamps to produce 135mg or 270mg of ozone per hour. The Uvonair UV-80H is designed to be inserted into an 8 inch (200mm) extraction system directly after the carbon filter and fan. The ozone produced by the Uvonair UV-80H is then mixed with the air leaving the grow-room as it travels down the ducting, neutralising odours, bacteria and mould spores that it comes into contact with, making the air considerably cleaner and fresher-smelling. The Uvonair UV-80H has an on-off switch for convenience and can also be switched between 1 lamp and 2 lamps to match the size of the room that you are extracting from. In low mode, only 1 lamp is switched on, producing 135mg of ozone per hour which is adequate for cleaning the air from a room up to 5000 cubic feet (150 cubic metres) in size. In high mode, both lamps are switched on producing 270mg of ozone per hour which can clean the air from rooms up to 10000 cubic feet (300 cubic metres).
Using the Uvonair UV-80H In-Duct Ozone Generator
The Uvonair UV-80H is designed to be used in a traditional 8 inch (200mm) grow-room extraction system consisting of a duct-fan, filter and ducting. Although the Uvonair UV-80H is superb at reducing odours, it should always be used in combination with a quality carbon filter (we recommend the best - a Rhino Pro, of course) to ensure complete elimination of smells. The Uvonair UV-80H is 8 inches (200mm) in diameter and can easily be connected into 8 inch (200mm) ducting and secured with a Duct Clip (available separately) on each side. The UV-80H should be connected into the ducting straight after the duct-fan and there should be several metres of ducting after it. This gives the ozone plenty of chance to mix with the air and to clean it as it goes down the ducting before coming out of the end.
The Uvonair UV-80H should be switched on whenever the duct-fan is on. The Uvonair UV-80H can be wired to the same electrical feed as the duct-fan as long as a fan speed controller is not being used. If a fan speed controller is being used then the Uvonair UV-80H should not be connected to this supply as it will not work. In this case, the Uvonair UV-80H will need it’s own mains electrical supply.
Ozone can be harmful to humans and animals so the air leaving the ducting should not blow directly into areas where it likely to be inhaled. Instead, the end of the ducting should be located somewhere that the ozone-laden air can disperse before it is likely to be inhaled by humans or animals.
The Uvonair UV-80H is incredibly effective at reducing odours. However, it is NOT a replacement for a quality carbon filter which should still be used to in your extraction system.
! Warnings: Do not inhale the air from directly in front of the generator or the end of the ducting as this will be very rich in ozone and therefore could be a hazard to health. Do not stare at the UV lamps as this could cause damage to the eyes. Children and animals should be kept out of any area which may contain elevated levels of ozone.
The lamps in the Uvonair UV-80H should be changed every year or after 8000 hours of use (whichever comes first) to maintain the unit’s effectiveness
