Control and management of the humidity in the grow room to avoid mould development

The humidity is another fundamental parameter to be kept under control in the cultivation area.

The ideal humidity for the grow area is 50-60% . The hygrometer is the instrument used to measure the percentage of humidity in the area. When the humidity is too high, mould can start to develop, which can have the grave consequence of the progressive decay of the plants.

What to do if the humidity is too high

If the humidity is too high in the grow room, it is simple enough to use the same method as with the temperature and apply and extractor fan, which will extract the humid air.

What to do if the humidity is too low

When the humidity is too low , its sufficient to add a humidifier in the grow room.
