Measure sugar concentration in water solutions
The Brix Refractometer 0-32% is a precision optical instrument used to measure sugar concentration in aqueous solutions.
The Brix meter works with the principle of refraction of liquids and gives us an idea about plant health and nutrient uptake. As a rule, plant growth is considered healthy from a value of 12. Search and consult online for conversion and reference tables for plant type.
How are Brix levels measured by the portable refractometer?
Brix levels indicate the level of sucrose present in a liquid through a quotient between the two values. For example, if a solution has 40 Brix, it means that in 100 grams of solution there are 40 g of sucrose and 60 g of water.
