The Root Control Disc is a 265mm diameter circular disc, placed in the potting tray, with one golden and one white side. The special coating of the golden side creates a barrier that prevents roots from crossing the pot and reaching the Aquavalve. This prevents the risk of clogging and promotes healthy, concentrated root development within the pot.
