Vigorplant Expanded Clay, available in a 10-liter bag, is a high-quality, pH-controlled (6-7) expanded clay product obtained through a special high-temperature firing process. The expanded clay pellets, with a granulometry between 8 and 20 mm, are lightweight, aesthetically pleasing, clean, and free of harmful microorganisms for plants. The expanded clay pellets are used to create a drainage layer at the bottom of pots and planters, to lighten the potting mix in containers, for hydroponic cultivation, and for decorative mulching of indoor and outdoor plants. Due to its composition and production processes, expanded clay is a very stable and long-lasting product. The use of expanded clay will have positive effects on multiple factors such as:
Lighter Planters: Expanded Clay, placed on the bottom of large planters or pots, allows you to avoid filling the containers solely with potting mix, thus making them lighter.
Optimal Aeration: Vigorplant Expanded Clay at the bottom of the pot or mixed with the potting mix promotes optimal oxygenation of the root system.
