It consists of a reservoir containing nutrient solution under a network of baskets housed in the growing chambers special grip. Inside the chambers maintain a saturated environment as the nutrient solution has nebulised nozzles directly from the roots "in the air" that will absorb the necessary amount and the excess is disposed of quickly and easily. In addition to the proper absorption of nutrients, the roots receive a considerable amount of oxygen and this will accelerate the process of growth and flowering plants. It is advisable to start this type of indoor cultivation with cubes of rock wool. Visit the section " GERMINATE IN ROCK WOOL CUBES ". Once the seeds are germinated in cubes of rock wool, put them into the DWC baskets previously filled with clay expander. Fill the DWC system with water and fertilizers that are hydroponic specific and measure the value of the EC (concentration nutrients) and add the fertilizer to bring the value of EC between 1.4 and 2.2 mS max. Measure the pH of the solution and ensure that its value is between 5.5 and 6.0 . Revise with the pH indicator. Constantly monitor the pH and the EC. Control the systems temperature with a timer, 15min of irrigation every 2hrs during the light periods and 15min every 3hrs during the period of darkness. Soon the plant will develop a substantial root system within a reduced time giving you substantial plants and flowers. How often must the solution be changed? It depends on the state (growth or flowering) of the plant. In the initial stages can be enough to change the solution every 2 weeks. When flowering is recommended change it every 10 days. At each replacement of the solution you should measure the value of the EC (concentration nutrients) and add fertilizer to bring the value of the EC between 1.4 and 2.2 mS max. At each replacement of the solution wash the container / tank with hot water to remove any algae, mould and salt deposits. Every time you fill the tank, measure the pH of the solution and ensure that its value is between 5.5 and 6.0 Revise with the pH indicator. Constantly monitor the pH. The solution should be at room temperature (over 18 °) and never left to go cold. Meter EC A conductive meter (EC meter) is an essential tool used in aeroponic systems. It determines the exact amount of fertilizer the plant needs. Prevents nebulisers becoming blocked as a result of the excessive amount of salt. If filling aerosols, leave them to soak in vinegar overnight. Order by Price asc Price desc Name A-Z Name Z-A Popularity View mode List Grid AeroFarm 3" Try aero-hydroponics now!
