Vigorplant's specific potting soil for Orchids has components in the mix specifically chosen to meet the needs of both epiphytic and semi-epiphytic species. The former grow anchored in the bark of trees with their roots exposed to the air, the latter grow with their root system covered by plant debris. Orchids are therefore plants that simultaneously need to have their roots well aerated and moist. It is precisely for these reasons that Comfort Line for Orchids has been formulated using pine bark, coconut fibre and peat. These materials give the soil the optimal porosity and drainage characteristics for the development of all orchids, while still allowing sufficient water and nutrient reserves.
