Bio-stimulant that protects plants against heat stress
VitaLink Chill is an advanced biostimulant for growers who want to achieve maximum yields in a cost-effective manner. VitaLink Chill will protect your plants from the stressful effects of unfavourable environmental conditions. It is formulated to protect plants against heat stress during periods of high temperatures, allowing growers to achieve good results all year round.
VitaLink Chill contains betaines which act as osmoprotectans, these play an important role in plants to protect them against damage caused by heat. The addition of vitamin B1 facilitates an early response in the plant to allow it to cope better with heat stress. VitaLink Chill also contains gibberellins and auxins which are plant growth hormones. These together with amino acids and humic acids enable the plant to sustain photosynthetic rate and growth rate even under stressful conditions.
VitaLink Chill stimulates the growth and development of side shoots and roots, and helps to prevent flower abortion during periods of high temperatures. VitaLink Chill also contains sulphur which is a macronutrient necessary for chlorophyll, vitamins and amino acid formation.
Usage instructions:
- For best results start using VitaLink Chill prior to a warm period (this can be several weeks in advance) alongside main nutrients. Use 3-5 ml/10 L, always add to fresh solution.
- VitaLink Chill has a cumulative effect, when used regularly your plants will build up tolerance to the effects of high temperatures.
- When a sudden temperature rise occurs VitaLink Chill can be used as a foliar spray for fast protection. Spray at 5 ml/L as a fine mist, do not spray to run off. This will not be as effective as regularly preventative usage but it can help you to salvage your crops.
- DO NOT use with VitaLink Heat. If used with VitaLink Hydrate use half the dose rate of each, failure to follow this instruction may result in plant damage.
- If required, adjust the pH. Recommended pH range 5.8-6.5. Shake well before use.
