The Savoy Cabbage of Asti San Martino is a plant of the Cruciferous family, large in size, with a medium-short stem. It has deep green leaves, with curling and the presence of wax; large inflorescence of spherical shape. It has a late vegetative cycle.
Being a rustic plant, it adapts to different climates; the optimal temperature for growth is between 18 ° C and 20 ° C with sunny exposure, with a minimum of 7 ° C. The ideal soil has a pH of 6.5 / 7.5; it is of medium texture, fresh, fertile, deep and well drained.
