Plant native to Peru
The Florentine Costoluto Tomato is an indeterminate plant of the Solanaceae family, originally from Peru. Medium-large fruit with a flattened and very ribbed shape, intense green that turns to intense red during ripening. It has from 8 to 10 lodges. Medium-late veegtative cycle; short period from rising to first flowering, and also short from flowering to ripening.

It needs a warm temperate climate with sunny exposure; fears the cold. The optimal temperature for growth is between 20 ° C and 22 ° C, with a minimum of 12 ° C. The ideal soil has a pH of 6 / 6.5; although highly adaptable, it prefers a medium-textured soil, which tends to be loose, fresh, fertile.

- Harvest: from July to September
