The Copper Onion of Milan is a bulbous plant of the Liliaceae family with very developed, branched, superficial roots. The coppery onion of Milan (Allium cepa) is a late variety. Bulb with golden yellow skin and ivory white flesh with streaks. Shape similar to a spinning top with a flattened top. Sowing Tips: It adapts to different climatic conditions but prefers temperate climates with sunny exposure.
The optimum temperature for growth is 20°C with a minimum of 12°C.
The ideal soil has a pH of 6/8; it is light, loose and fresh.

Sow outdoors: March/April with a minimum temperature of 12°C.
