Resguard from Resgrowsolution is a state-of-the-art bioformulate designed to solve one of the most common challenges in cultivation: caterpillar and chewing larvae attack. Its efficacy is based on the action of Bacillus thuringiensis, a micro-organism that produces specific crystalline toxins. These toxins, once ingested by the larvae, are activated in their alkaline gut causing them to block their food supply and subsequent elimination in a natural and selective manner, without affecting beneficial insects such as bees or ladybirds.

In addition to foliar protection, Resguard acts as a powerful soil conditioner due to the presence of endo-mycorrhizae and rhizosphere bacteria. These colonise the roots, expanding their capacity to absorb water and nutrients and making the plant more resilient to environmental stresses. The result is a dual action: while the foliage is protected from insects, the root system is enhanced for more vigorous and healthy growth.

Resguard is a zero residue product, fully biodegradable and permitted in organic farming. Its safe formula makes it ideal for those who grow horticultural, fruit or ornamental plants and want a professional solution that does not compromise the health of the ecosystem or the end consumer.
