The blade is made of Sandvik 12c27 equipped with Vibrolock with a carbon content of less than 0.40% which guarantees an excellent cut.
- The polyamide handle is reinforced with effective glass fibers to ensure high resistance to shocks, water and extreme temperatures. It is equipped with a whistle with a power of 110 decibels audible at over 300 meters.
- The Vibroloc safety ring invented by Marcel Opinel is mounted on all Opinel knives, made in two sessions, one fixed and one sliding.
