A natural alternative to synthetic pesticides
Neem oil is derived from the Azadirachta Indica, cultivated in tropical and semi-tropical regions such as middle-east, Sub'Saharan Africa, West Africa, Indian Ocean States, some parts of Australia, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The Neem is a tree in the mahogany family Meliacee, this everygreen can reach a height of 25 meters and last up to 300 years.
It produces smooth, yellowish-white oval-shaped fruits, the inner shell of fruits encloses one, rarely two or more seeds which the oil is extracted. The Neem oil is well known all over the world for its extraordinary properties and its many applications. The other parts of the tree (leaves, bark, wood, roots, fruit pulp, flowers) there are substances with medicinal effects.
Its vitamin E and essential fatty acids content, make it suitable for preventive and revitalizing treatments in the presence of parasites. Neem (Ineem) is a key ingredient in non-pesticidal management (NPM), providing a natural alternative to synthetic pesticides.It acts as an anti-feedant, repellent, and egg-laying deterrent, protecting the crop from damage. An extra benefit of using it, keeping mosquitoes away and not having unpleasant side effects.
It is also useful to be sprayed in stagnant water (discarded cans, plant pots, tires, dug-outs, roofs, etc.), avoid becoming a breeding ground for the mosquitoes.
Dose and application mode: the amount of usage depends on the type of use, usually 200gr, and is sufficient for 100 liters of water.
