The Lumatek Hps 600W 400V Bulb is recommended with the use of the Lumatek Ultimate Pro 600W 400V electronic ballast and is manufactured using high quality ceramic arc tube technology and with a specific horticultural gas mixture that creates an emission spectral spectrum for healthy plant growth. 400V HPS lamps are more efficient than standard HPS lamps and this allows them to increase light intensity and PAR / PPF power by 10%.

The PCA ceramic arc tube allows the lamp to operate at higher internal temperatures increasing color rendering, output and efficiency. PCA resists interaction with chemicals within the tube which stabilizes the chemical mixture throughout the life of the lamp, thereby improving color consistency and maintaining PAR / PPF level

Pulse technology allows for faster start-up and restart times, longer lamp life and increased lumen maintenance.
