Flortis Larvicide Anti-Mosquito is a highly effective effervescent tablet product for the control of mosquito larvae, including those of the tiger mosquito. Its action is based on S-Metoprene, an active ingredient that mimics the insect's juvenile hormone, preventing the larvae from completing metamorphosis and becoming adults.

The effervescent tablet formulation makes the product easy to use and dose. Simply distribute the tablets in the areas where the larvae are to be found, such as stagnant water from manholes, fountains, tyres, septic tanks, manholes, purification tanks, small ponds, ditches, ponds, canals and in general where there is an accumulation of water.

Method of use:

• Depending on the organic load of the water, the recommended doses are:
  • For clear water: 1 tablet per 1000/2000 litres.
  • For heavily organic water: 1 tablet every 500/1000 litres.
  • For confined environments with a strong organic load, such as manholes: 1 tablet per 40 litres.
• Treat possible locations where larvae may be present regularly from March to October.
• Repeat the treatment every 2-4 weeks depending on the temperature and cleanliness of the water and in the event of persistent rainfall.
