AC Infinity extraction kits with speed controllers are complete systems for ventilation, air exchange and air filtration in grow boxes and indoor growing environments. Each kit includes an in-line extractor fan with an EC-PWM motor, a manual speed controller, an Australian-made activated carbon filter, a flexible duct and installation accessories. Available in various diameters and flow rates, these systems allow you to manage the extraction of hot, humid air, limit the spread of odours and set up an extraction system with fully compatible components.

Quiet extraction with an EC-PWM motor and 10-speed control

The AC Infinity extractor fans used in the Speed Controller kits feature electronically commutated EC motors with PWM control, designed to minimise energy consumption and reduce operating noise. The mixed-flow design combines an impeller with stator blades and hydrodynamic air-guiding channels, helping to generate the static pressure required to work with carbon filters and ductwork. The removable motor unit facilitates regular cleaning, whilst the double ball bearings and anti-vibration frame contribute to the system’s stability during continuous operation.

The included Speed Controller allows you to select from 10 speed levels and features an on/off switch. PWM control enables you to adjust the extractor’s airflow to meet air-exchange requirements, reducing the speed when maximum extraction is not required. The memory function retains the last selected setting following a power cut. The fans also support compatible AC Infinity controllers, available separately, for automated ventilation management based on environmental parameters.

Odour filtration with Australian virgin activated carbon RC412

The filtration system uses an RC412 Australian virgin activated carbon filter with an iodine adsorption value (IAV) of 1200+, designed to trap the odour-causing molecules present in the extracted air. The carbon is distributed within a filter bed that provides a large surface area for contact with the air flow. The structure comprises a galvanised steel mesh and reversible aluminium flanges, which allow the filter to be reversed to utilise the adsorbent material more evenly. The fabric pre-filter traps dust and airborne particles before they reach the carbon, helping to maintain its efficiency over time.

Four-layer flexible duct and installation in grow boxes

AC Infinity kits include a four-layer flexible ventilation hose, featuring an outer thermoplastic PVC coating, inner aluminium layers and a spiral steel reinforcement structure. This configuration allows the carbon filter to be connected to the extractor fan and the air to be channelled out of the grow box, adapting the route to suit the installation requirements. Hose clamps secure the fittings, whilst straps and suspension brackets allow the components to be positioned within the grow room. To maintain good system efficiency, it is advisable to minimise sharp bends, constrictions and unnecessary duct lengths.
