Pi Rack | Vertical system
PI RACK: A VERTICAL HYDROPONIC SYSTEM FOR CULTIVATION
PiRack is a vertical hydroponic system that allows to cultivate a large amount of plants in a small area. It is composed of circular elements linked with one another, each of which supports a number of pots from 3.5 equipped with a drain and a small cage in order to avoid any obstacle in the cultivation.
Each plant is fed and drained separately from a fully integrated irrigation system that prevents the risk of transmission of pathogens in the water in excess. To ensure the same quantity of light to all plants there are three vapor lamps, high pressure sodium 600 watt, installed vertically in the cooling pipes made of glass, located at the center of the system. The large opening in the structure provides suitable air circulation.
It is necessary to place the system in a separate room.
