Advanced Test Hydroponics Dwc System 4 (By Max)

TEST ADVANCED DWC SYSTEM – 4 (By Max)



This system has been tested and developed by Max Como after several months of work. Thanks Max! It is a hybrid system that combines two important hydroponic technologies:
Hydro (drip) and DWC (roots immersed and suspended).

This system provides advantages of both techniques:

  1. Easy installation, use and maintain (comes with illustrated manual).
  2. Reduced time of substantial growth and flowering compared to traditional systems creating excellent yield/cost.
  3. Continuous drip of the solution so the plants determine how much to absorb (Less waste).
  4. Intense oxygenation to the roots with a powerful two way pump oxygenation.
  5. Water is always moving. This avoids the formation of fungi, algae, mould.
  6. Closed-loop system on clay to stabilize the pH.
  7. No wasted substrate as clay is recycled 100%.

The kit includes:

  • Tank base of 90 litres
  • 4 net pot vases (mesh baskets)
  • A dive-pump connected to four drippers
  • A two way air pump connected to two porous stones
  • Hydraulic components
  • Illustrated instruction manual

What do you do with this kit?
Leave the cubes of rock wool submerged in CELLMAX ROOTBOOSTER for 24 hours. Once germinated (see the section "To Germinate in Rockwool cubes") proceed as follows:

  1. Fill the reservoir system with 35 litres of water and dilute:
    - 25 ml CELLMAX HYDRO GROW X
    - 25 ml CELLMAX HYDRO GROW Y
    - Stabilizing the value of pH around 5.5 using pH indicator
    - Stabilizing the EC value (concentration nutrients) to 1.4 mS adding or reducing the amount of fertilizer
  2. Place the immersion pump into the tank.
  3. Place the two stones in the porous reservoir (linked through the capillary tube to pump air outside the system).
  4. Close the lid and fill the network vases with clay.
  5. Insert rock wool cubes previously germinated into expanded clay.
  6. Connect two pumps to a timer and maintain the temperature (15min turning every 2 hours).
  7. Illuminate the system for a 21 day month of vegetative growth for 18hrs/day using a 400W lamp.
  8. After 21 days vary your light hours from 18 to 12hrs/day and this will start the flowering stage:
    - 25 ml CELLMAX HYDRO BLOOM X
    - 25 ml CELLMAX HYDRO BLOOM Y
  9. The beginning of the flowering period may cause a sharp rise in the pH Revise with pH indicator.
  10. The bloom is carried out in 45days with excellent results.
